I was at the Denver airport a couple of years ago. At the cab stand, I was not in Denver. I was in Mogadishu and Khartoum. It is absolutely tragic and shocking as Colorado was just a couple of decades ago a red-blooded American and very conservative state. How many states are Californian locusts going to destroy? I say that as a deep deep Californian whose ancestors helped build that state from nearly nothing. I think the distinguishing thing is that rather than Californians, they are cosmopolitan coastal nomads who worked in California the office park and are now hollowing out Oregon, Washington and Colorado.
