Some say Liberalism is a mental disorder, and I would agree. The late Lawrence Auster had a brilliant long definition, the snapshot being;
"Liberalism is the belief in equality and non-discrimination as the ruling principles of society."
Therefore, to publicly notice (the blindingly obvious) differences in races, sexes, behaviors, and cultures, violates these principles, and as not allowed. Forbidden.
If I recall, Auster thought Liberalism was worse, and more dangerous than other isms, such as Communism and Feminism etc.
Anyway, so we play this great game of pretend, so we don't notice publicly, to retain our jobs, income, social status, and perhaps soon, access to a bank account. So we are not ostracized.
Like my eldest sister, decades of riding the corporate diversity train, salary in millions, and absolutely "lives and breathes diversity", yet chooses to live in an exclusive, non diverse, safe, crime free suburb.
