I'm hoping for the 'reform' option myself, since I think the arguments for facilitating some kind of international trade system and shared defence policy are pretty compelling even if we don't necessarily need to be doctrinaire about tariffs and subsidies and so on. Obviously the immigration system needs a total overhaul.
In light of immediate security, demographic & cultural concerns: Portugal and Spain ought to be pulled over as well. Their economies seem to be variably connected to Italy & America at some level.
